Day 1 - 4 
Arrive Ketchikan. Transfer by floatplane flight to Yes Bay Lodge for
4 nights. The Lodge is limited to 24 guests at a time for personalized
service. Accommodations have private bath and maid service.
Day 5
Transfer from Lodge to Ketchikan airport for the morning jet flight
to Wrangell. Wrangell, the "Hidden Jewel" of Alaska is the staging port
for the exclusive jet boat trip up the Stikine River to Telegraph Creek
B.C., an exciting and truly unique trip that you are sure to remember
for a lifetime! The Stikine River is home to moose, eagles, brown and
black bears. Your 6-hour trip up the river will offer spectacular scenery
and the real wilderness experience. Upon arrival in Telegraph Creek,
overnight and dinner included at the Stikine Riversong Lodge. The Riversong
is the site of an old trading post and retains the flavor of an old
country store. The rooms are simple and rustic but comfortable, private
bathroom available.
Day 6
Depart Telegraph for Glenora Guest Ranch. A real 150 year old rustic
homestead in the wilderness. Comfortable cabins, convenient bath house
and hearty food await you at Glenora. Real northern homestead experiences
start when you are met with 4 wheelers and transferred up the 3 1/2
mile road to the ranch. Wildlife of all types abound at Glenora with
moose, bear, and many bird species. Next morning, on your way back to
Wrangell with an intermediate stop at great Glacier. Walk into a beautiful
glacier lake area by easy trail. Excellent photo opportunity.
Day 8
Return to Wrangell this afternoon. Overnight in Grand View Bed and
Breakfast and be treated to their gracious hospitality. The B&B will provide transfer to the airport or ferry for your trip to Juneau. Upon arrival you'll stay at the Westmark Juneau in the heart of downtown. Spend the afternoon and next day exploring.
Day 9
An afternoon jet flight lands you in Gustavus, home of Glacier
Bay National Park and the
Inn or lodge. Enjoy another taste of true Alaskan hospitality from the time you
enter the Inn. They are very accommodating here
and will make sure you are well watched after.
Day 10
Early morning departure on the Glacier Bay day cruise into Glacier
Bay National Park. A chance to see more wildlife as well as the adorable
Horned puffins and Brown bear that call the area home. The bay is also
habitat for many species of birds - binoculars are a must. Return to
the dock and the van from the Inn or lodge will meet you and transfer
you back to the Inn.
Day
11
Enjoy a morning whale watching trip in Glacier Bay National Park. This
afternoon, relax around the Inn or take a hike. Transfer to the airport
for your early evening jet flight back to Juneau and continuing to Anchorage,
Alaska's largest city and home to half of the state residents! Overnight
Anchorage.
Day 12-14
Up early to catch Alaska Railroads train at 6:45am for Seward and the
Kenai Fjords excursion to Fox Island. You will join the tour and stop
at the island for lunch and the rest of the tour group will leave and
you will stay for two nights of relative seclusion in the wilderness
of Fox Island. The cabins are beautifully done and the food is excellent.
There is hiking, kayaking and relaxation. All the cabins have bathrooms
and showers and are heated. There is no electricity or telephone on
Fox Island.
Day 14
Join the group tour after lunch and continue the sightseeing, marine
wildlife and glacier cruise with Kenai Fjords Tours. Arrive back to
Seward at 5:30pm. Depart for Anchorage at 6:30pm on the train arriving
at 10:30pm. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 15
Depart Anchorage for Denali on the Alaska Railroad at
8:30 am arriving at the Denali National Park station at 4:00 pm. Afternoon
free, or request optional flightseeing trip. Overnight.
Day 16-18
Depart the Denali Train Depot at 2:00 pm for the 5 hour bus ride and
wildlife tour into Kantishna Roadhouse arriving in time for dinner.

Day 18
Depart Kantishna for Denali Depot at 7:00am, arriving at noon,
in time to catch the 12:30pm train to Anchorage. Arrive Anchorage
at 8:30pm, transfer to the airport and depart on a night flight
to Seattle, arriving at 5:00am, or optional overnight in Anchorage
and flight the next day. Tour is custom, so departure can
be any date.l

Location and directions - 103 5th Avenue - take Evergreen from ferry terminal go to Petroglyph Beach road an continue to the NEXT left toward the water, that is 5th Avenue (but it is not marked, and looks like a driveway but it's a city street) - go left down 5th and from there you will see the sign. |
