Day 1 - ARRIVE IN JUNEAU Transfer to a Juneau hotel to check in for your cruise. Board the Empress of the North with Welcome Reception and evening cruising. Day 2 - SKAGWAY Ride the historic White Pass & Yukon Railroad and relive the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. Have time for optional activities and shopping in Skagway Day 3 - GLACIER BAY Enjoy a full day excursion into the park for views of glaciers and wildlife. Traverse Icy Strait to cruise past Point Adolphus for whale watching. Day 4 - SITKA Early morning cruise through Peril Strait. Visit the Alaska Raptor Center. Witness a performance of local Tlingit and New Archangel Russian folk dancers.Time on your own to visit Saint Michael’s Cathedral. Day 5 - PETERSBURG See a performance of Norwegian folk dancers. Cruise through 22-mile long Wrangell Narrows, which is inaccessible to large cruise ships. Day 6 - WRANGELL Visit Chief Shakes Island, Petroglyph Beach and enjoy a salmon feast. Port call in the historic village of Wrangell to explore part of ‘real’ Alaska. Optional tour to the fantastic Stikine River, or Anan Wildlife Observatory (in season). Day 7 - LECONTE BAY / TRACY ARM FJORD Morning cruise into Le Conte Bay, where big ships can’t go to see Alaska’s southern-most tidewater glacier.
