 Juneau  to Sitka

DAY 1
Juneau, Alaska – Embarkation
Welcome aboard! Meet the crew and your Wellness hosts Anna and John, settle in, and relax with your shipmates. Within minutes you’ll be cruising the scenic channels of the Inside Passage.

DAY 2
Captain’s Choice
In a setting that could easily take your breath away, practice working on your breath. Morning and evening yoga sessions with John provide the perfect start or end to each day of your cruise. In Lynn Canal or Chatham Strait, your captain sets the course today. Kick off your morning with a healthful breakfast then by guided kayak or paddle board, glide along rocky outcroppings. Or choose a core-power kayak with your Wellness hosts keeping watch for wildlife.

DAY 3
Glacier Bay National Park
There’s no more soul-stirring place to find mind, body, spirit balance than Glacier Bay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. A National Park Ranger joins you to uncover coves and corners of the bay. Near South Marble Island, spot brightly-colored puffins, Black Oystercatchers, and many species of rare sea birds. You'll find sea lions, mountain goats, bears, eagles, and spectacular scenic backdrops. Tidewater glaciers sweep like rivers of ice down massive mountain valleys, terminating in the waters of Glacier Bay. Your day is complete with a stop in Bartlett Cove to visit the Park Service's Headquarters.

DAY 4
Icy Strait
In some of the most remote reaches in Southeast Alaska, get your blood pumping with an invigorating cardio dance or Pilates session. Join your expedition team out on deck in search of whales and marine mammals, then begin your land and sea exploration with core power kayaking led by your Wellness hosts, or paddle with your expedition guides. Get a close inspection of the coastline by skiff watching the shore for possible bear sightings. This evening, a special discussion led by your guest hosts highlights opportunities for adding greater wellness into your fit-and-healthy lifestyle.

DAY 5
Chichagof Island / Peril Strait
Morning sun salutations honor the light within, and the natural beauty along the coast of Chichagof Island. Marvel at the unbelievable scenery of glacier-carved fjords. Anchor in a remote cove and explore by kayak and skiff. Or take a shoreline stroll with the option for guided walking meditation. Hit the trails for a forest exploration and power core hiking. Wend along twisting Peril Strait known for dramatic currents.

DAY 6
Sergius Narrows / Neva Strait
Opening at Hoonah Sound, Sergius Narrows is a great place to watch for bears, otters, whales, and eagles. It’s also a great setting for bow deck Pilates or a core power dance session. The rugged rock fingers of the narrows winds into scenic Neva Strait. This evening, toast another day of amazing adventure with a frosty microbrew, hot toddy, or nourishing herbal tea.

DAY 7
Krestof & Nakwasina Sounds
Along Baranof Island’s western side and the shores Krestof Sound and Nakwasina Sound lay hundreds of remote, uninhabited islands. Discover the region’s intertidal zones, or from your skiff or kayak, watch for whales and sea lions. Core strength and kayaking go hand-in-hand—an energizing session of core-power kayaking will have you feeling the burn. Gear up for a guided hike in the vast Tongass National Forest. Or, hold your tree pose in a beachside yoga session. Tonight, toast your voyage with a festive Farewell Dinner and a “photo journal” of your trip. Your Wellness team offers one final presentation with tips and tricks for integrating your new level of mindfulness, fitness, and healthful awareness into your daily life back home.

DAY 8
Sitka, Alaska – Disembarkation
Gather for breakfast this morning as you cruise into Russian-influenced Sitka for disembarkation. Transfer to the airport or begin your UnCruise hotel stay or land tour.
